Indiana Jones and The Great Circle: What to Expect from the PS5 Release

PlayStation 5 owners are eagerly awaiting the release of Indiana Jones and The Great Circle, which will launch on April 17. However, those who pre-order the game will get exclusive early access starting April 15, confirmed by developer MachineGames and publisher Bethesda Softworks on Monday. This announcement was accompanied by a humorous new video featuring iconic voice actors Nolan North and Troy Baker, with Baker voicing the beloved adventurer, Indiana Jones.

In the video, North, who is best known for his portrayal of Nathan Drake in the Uncharted series, plays the role of a mentor, offering advice to Baker on what it means to take on a legendary character like Indiana Jones. Their comedic interactions showcase their impressive chemistry, with North’s exaggerated self-assurance and Baker’s charming, put-upon performance providing a lot of humor.

The highly anticipated Indiana Jones and The Great Circle is finally coming to PS5, just four months after its initial release on Windows PC and Xbox Series X. The official launch date for the PS5 version is set for April 17, but players who pre-order digitally can start their adventure as early as April 15. Physical pre-orders will be available starting March 25.

In addition to the PS5 launch, MachineGames is introducing two new whip abilities across all platforms: Open Season and Sleight of Hand. Open Season allows players to deal more damage to enemies after cracking them with Indy’s whip, while Sleight of Hand enables players to disarm enemies and send their weapons flying into Indy’s hands.

Indiana Jones and The Great Circle is an original action-adventure game set between Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade. The story follows Indy as he embarks on a globe-trotting quest to stop Adolf Hitler’s forces from obtaining powerful artifacts. Alongside him is Gina Lombardi, an Italian journalist with personal motivations tied to the mission.
