APC Stakeholders in Adamawa Pledge Support for Tinubu's Re-election in 2027

In a show of solidarity, stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa have expressed their full confidence in the leadership of President Bola Tinubu. At a meeting of party executives held in Hong on Tuesday, the group not only endorsed the current administration but also vowed to work towards securing the president’s re-election in 2027, citing his positive impact on the nation.
The APC North-East Zonal Vice-Chairman, Mr. Salihu Mustapha, emphasized that the gathering was intended to strengthen party unity and ensure continued progress both within Adamawa and across the country. He highlighted several achievements under President Tinubu’s leadership, including the implementation of a N70,000 minimum wage, payment of wage arrears, granting local governments more autonomy, the removal of fuel subsidies, and the ongoing battle against corruption.
Mr. Yusuf Captain-Buba, Chairman of the Reconciliation and Reposition Committee for Adamawa Central Zone, praised the president for revitalizing the economy and boosting agricultural growth. He also commended the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, for the government's efforts in addressing the country’s security challenges. “With these strides and more, we wholeheartedly pass a vote of confidence in the administration and its leadership,” he stated.
Captain-Buba further shared the committee’s goals, which include reconciling party members, mobilizing voters, and reclaiming the state’s governorship seat, along with ensuring Tinubu’s second term in office. He called on local party leaders to promote unity, fairness, and inclusivity among all members to achieve these objectives.
Rufai Umar, a member of the Adamawa State House of Assembly representing Gombi Constituency, also spoke at the event. He outlined key strategies for tackling the party’s challenges and ensuring that APC remains a strong force in the state.
The meeting concluded with a renewed sense of commitment to supporting President Tinubu and advancing the APC’s goals in the upcoming years.
