Ghanaian Actor and Filmmaker Lil Win says, he might never release his highly anticipated film IBRAHIM TRAORÉ cuz he was chased out by his landlord.. in his words
‘’ I paid the landlord 15,000 per day for our movie shoot but he still sacked me - Lilwin reveals biopic movie on Ibrahim Traore has been halted
Lilwin was dropping GHC15,000 daily just to rent a location for his Ibrahim Traoré biopic.
Everything was going well until a group of guys on motorbikes showed up and scattered the whole set.
Things got messy, and the landlord, not wanting any wahala, asked Lilwin to pack out.
Ghanaians and excuses na 5&6.. I mean can’t you get another house ?
Anyways upon hearing this, many Ghanaians blame him for sharing graphics of the film even though it wasn’t ready..

Too many ignorant people on social media. How do you compare Kano State with GDP of about $25 billion to that of Ghana which is around $80 billion? The only State in Nigeria which has comparable GDP to Ghana is Lagos, the economic hub of the entire Nigeria . No other State come close.

Nigeria is one of the top 10 recipients of UK aid. But why should Nigeria be taking aid from Western countries? They have so much resources. This shouldn’t be happening.

GHANA MUST GO
On 17th January, 1983, exactly 42 years ago today, President of Nigeria, Shehu Shagari issued an executive order to expel two million undocumented West African migrants, half of whom were from Ghana.
After the expulsion, the over 1 million Ghanaians headed westwards, passing through Benin and Togo. Because of an attempted coup the previous year, the President of Ghana, Jerry Rawlings, had closed the main land crossing with Togo, and to avoid a sudden influx of returnees, Togo then also shut its borders with Benin.
Therefore, once the migrants reached Benin, the way out was restricted and they were forced to remain in the port of Cotonou, the country's seat of government, attempting to find a boat to Ghana. After they had been stranded for more than a week, Ghana reopened its borders, causing Togo to do likewise so that the Ghanaians could return home. Thousands of Ghanaians died at the border.

“The first time I traveled to some African countries, I appreciated my country for the first time because we are doing well. In as much as we still have a long way to go, honestly, if you compare us to some other countries I think we have done some good” - Sarkodie
