  • Putting On Christ eBook

    Gratuito
Putting on Christ is a roadmap of our heroic journey to Spiritual Rebirth, also referenced in holy writ as “the gate” that leads to eternal life. This gate is the First Comforter which is received and initiated through a “baptism of fire” and manifestation of the Lord’s Spirit. The Savior said, “Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able” (Luke 13:24).

For the true seeker and truth seeker, Putting On Christ may prove a valuable guide for the journey along this straight and narrow path which leads to obtaining the knowledge of God on the level as if we had seen Him. This knowledge then opens the door to “obtain all other things which pertain to life and godliness” (Lectures On Faith 7:18). Putting On Christ includes the stories of nine people who were born of the Spirit or born of God in our Latter day—six of whom are personally known to me. These nine have all obtained the same knowledge—even the perfect knowledge as to God’s reality.

This same knowledge is available to all who have come under heavenly contract with God through the ordinances by proper authority. Joseph Smith taught that, "whatsoever constitutes the salvation of one will constitute the salvation of every creature which will be saved" (Lectures on Faith, 7:9).

Jesus said to Nicodemus: “Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God” (John 3:5). Being born of the Spirit is much more than receiving the Father’s promise through “confirmation” after being baptized by water. There is a broken-hearted covenant and cry of the soul we must each make in the depths of repentance, performed in complete surrender, having a committed willingness to do His will in all things thereafter. Once these and other conditions are met, the fulfillment of the Father’s promise can then be made experientially “real” for us in our lives—unto the praise and glory of God. This is when we transition from the knowledge about God to the actual, perfect knowledge of God. Indeed, this is salvation.

  • “I Deposited N550 Million at First Bank Abiriba Branch to Keep It in My Community”—Businessman Dr. Agbai Eke Agbai

Renowned businessman Dr. Agbai Eke Agbai has revealed that he deposited N550 million into a fixed deposit account at First Bank’s Abiriba branch in response to an appeal by the bank’s former Group Managing Director. His intention was to ensure that the branch remained operational in his community.

“I deposited that money into a fixed deposit account, with a certificate issued to me by First Bank, based on an appeal from the former Group Managing Director. This was done to prevent the bank from being removed from Abiriba,” he stated.

However, upon his return to Nigeria, Dr. Agbai was met with an alarming discovery.

“I went to First Bank in Abuja to make a withdrawal, only to find out that N55 million had been withdrawn from my account by bank officials. They claimed that I personally made the withdrawals at their Uzuakoli Road branch in Umuahia, but at that time, I was not even in the country,” he explained.

Following an internal review, bank officials admitted to the unauthorized withdrawal and refunded the money. However, this incident raised serious concerns for Dr. Agbai, prompting him to take action.

“That was when I started sensing trouble. When I officially requested to close my fixed deposit account, I was shocked to be informed that my N550 million was nowhere to be found,” he revealed.

  • A Heartbreaking Discovery: Kidnapping Den Uncovered in Imo State

Too many families in Igboland have suffered unimaginable pain, losing their loved ones to the hands of kidnappers. The recent discovery of a kidnapping camp at the boundary between Umuosinta Amuzi Obowo and Iheteafor-Ukwu Ahiazu Mbaise in Imo State has once again exposed the horrors many have endured in silence.

At this site, unmarked graves were found—silent witnesses to the fate of victims who never made it home. Some were reportedly murdered even after their families paid ransom, while others were killed outright. Scattered among the graves were stolen vehicles—Toyota Avalons, Range Rovers, Toyota Camrys, Lexus models—belonging to individuals whose fates were cruelly sealed by these criminals.

Reports indicate that this gang operates from Port Harcourt. After carrying out their evil acts in Imo State, they retreat there to hide, only to return and continue their reign of terror in the Obowo axis. Just this past Monday, witnesses say they came back to move two stolen cars, likely to sell them off.

This discovery is a painful reminder of the insecurity that plagues our land. But it is also a call to action. Our communities must stand together, and our authorities must act swiftly to dismantle these networks of terror. No family should have to endure the agony of losing a loved one in such a cruel manner.

Let’s not look away. Let’s demand justice.
