Before I got married, one big man that I was very close to told me "Udo, don't worry. Just let me know when you see the woman you want to marry. I will handle the rest."
Fast forward to when I wanted to marry, I went to give him an official invitation.
I even went with two cartons of expensive wine.
Two days to my wedding, I got an alert of 20k from this man.
LESSON
Marry when you are ready o. No go dey depend on anyone.
All the people telling you go and marry upandan will leave you when you are ready to.
If you'd listen to me, no do WHITE WEDDING. It's a waste of resources. It has no spiritual significance. Anyways, I still did it
Never ever ever ever ever ever borrow to do wedding.... NEVER!
Some of things I wished I did instead of elaborate wedding.
- Use the money and travel to somewhere and enjoy life with my wife.
- Invest in a business and be sure of a good return in one year.
- I would rather do an elaborate traditional wedding than white wedding.
- I will never advise anyone to use 100% of their savings to do wedding (trad&white).
