Shameful Tribalism!” — Do2dtun Roasts Whitemoney Over Flavour Comment At 17th Headies

Nigerian media personality, Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode, popularly known as Do2dtun, has criticized reality TV star Whitemoney over his tribal remarks during the 17th Headies Awards ceremony.

According to reports, during the event held at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos on Sunday, Whitemoney, while receiving the Afrobeats Single of the Year award on behalf of singer Flavour, stated that he was accepting it “on behalf of the Igbos.”
The comment sparked backlash from viewers who accused him of introducing tribalism and limiting Flavour’s fanbase to only the Igbo people.

Reacting via his handle, Do2dtun condemned Whitemoney for bringing ethnic sentiments into what should have been a unifying moment, emphasizing that Flavour’s victory was a win for all Afrobeats lovers.
