Edo State Governor Makes Another Blunder, Misidentifies Oshiomhole

Senator Monday Okpebholo has once again made a public error, this time incorrectly referring to Senator Adams Oshiomhole as the representative of Edo South in a trending video on social media.

The mistake occurred during the flag-off ceremony for the dualization of sections two to four of the Ekpoma-Auchi-Okpella-Okene-Ajaokuta Expressway, a major federal project aimed at improving connectivity and boosting economic activities in Edo and Kogi states.

Oshiomhole, a former governor of Edo State, is the current Senator representing Edo North. Meanwhile, Edo South is represented by Neda Bernards Imasuen of the Labour Party.

This latest slip follows an earlier blunder by Okpebholo regarding the Edo State budget. He had previously criticized the state’s budget proposal but was later called out for misrepresenting key financial figures. His comments sparked controversy, with many questioning his grasp of budgetary processes and financial allocations.

With this second public misstep in a short period, political observers are beginning to scrutinize Okpebholo’s statements more closely, raising concerns about his attention to detail on critical matters.
